In December 2015, Trinity Church Wall Street and Norges Bank Investment Management formed a joint venture partnership. Comprised of 11 office buildings with 4.9 million square feet of commercial space in Hudson Square. For Trinity, this partnership results in a diversification of assets critical to sustaining its ministries around the globe, while ensuring that the parish remains a vital property owner and stakeholder in Hudson Square – as it has been for 300 years. It also reaffirms Trinity's long-term commitment to the neighborhood and the City of New York. In April 2016 the joint venture selected Hines as the operating partner for this portfolio. As of June 1, 2016 Hines is the operating partner and has acquired a minority equity stake in the portfolio.
