In December 2015, Trinity Church Wall Street and Norges Bank Investment Management formed a joint venture partnership. Comprised of 11 office buildings with 4.9 million square feet of commercial space in Hudson Square. For Trinity, this partnership results in a diversification of assets critical to sustaining its ministries around the globe, while ensuring that the parish remains a vital property owner and stakeholder in Hudson Square – as it has been for 300 years. It also reaffirms Trin ity's long-term commitment to the neighborhood and the City of New York. In April 2016 the joint venture selected Hines as the operating partner for this portfolio.
