About Opheem

Opheem is an Indian fine dining restaurant on Summer Row in Birmingham city centre, led by chef Aktar Islam, who grew up in Aston and began working in his father's restaurant at sixteen. The kitchen reinterprets Indian flavours using cooking techniques drawn from around the world, and the restaurant holds Michelin recognition. It opens for dinner midweek and for lunch and dinner at weekends, and offers private dining and gift vouchers. The team also runs Aktar @ Home, a related at-home dining offer.
