Cedar and Vine

I have just returned from my second sewing retreat at Cedar and Vine. I stayed in the beautiful heritage house near the studio. The accommodations are comfortable and the space is lovingly kept in authentic period decor with comfortable beds and modern comforts The retreat included delicious, fresh and nutritious meals. The selection of garments to sew is carefully curated and customized to fit. All pieces are precision cut and the members of Jo’s team are there to help you every step of the way. Whether you are a newcomer to garment sewing or someone with experience, the retreat is a time to share with like minded sewists. My garments are a welcome addition to my growing sustainable wardrobe of well fitting, comfortable clothing. The studio is well appointed with quality machines and notions for everything you need to complete your projects.

Ordered custom fit linen pants, 273.00cad all costs included. Company did not specify any criteria for hip-ankle cuff length, and of course what came is about 5inches too long. Staff seems receptive to a return but the negligence, and time wasting cedarandvine have shown in this case; make it unlikely I will purchase anything else from them. Even considering the product is of quality, their disregard for basic measurements in a custom fit of this price range is gross negligence and unprofessional.
