Trincas is a restaurant and live music venue at 17 Park Street in Kolkata. It opened in 1927 as a tea-room and bakery and was bought in 1959 by Om Prakash Puri and Ellis Joshua from its Swiss owner Cinzio Trinca, who turned it into a restaurant. Floor shows were introduced in the 1960s, and the venue now hosts live music daily. The kitchen serves classic Indian food, Calcutta-style Chinese cuisine and heritage Continental dishes such as Chicken a la Kiev. Reservations and enquiries can be made by phone or WhatsApp.
