About The Grand Thakar

The Grand Thakar was established in 1965 by Mr. Karunashankar Thakar, Mr. Hasmukh Thakar, Mr. Narendra Thakar and Mr. Omshankar Thakar. It all began with a small restaurant at the residence itself with no waiters but only the family members serving food to their guests. With God’s grace and hard work, in 1972 a restaurant was set up at Morbi. In 2000, the business was further expanded by establishing another restaurant at Kantastri Vikas Gruh Road near Gujarat Press in Rajkot. Later in 2011, the hotel – The Grand Thakar was established.
