Sovereign Thai Cuisine, also known as Sovereign Modern Thai, is a restaurant on J Street in San Diego's East Village run by brother-and-sister team Uthan Dejcomrunkul and JuMi Pitiwartarlai. The menu focuses on the flavours of northeastern Thailand's Isaan region, combining traditional Thai cooking with Chinese influences, modern techniques and family recipes passed down from their grandmother. The restaurant offers dine-in service, reservations and online ordering, and has been recognised in the Michelin Guide and featured on Food Network.
