Salisbury Homes

We started the building process with Salisbury in November of 2021. Submitted a picture of a check to put us on the wait list. In May of 2022 we got a text saying they were out of lots in our desired area but we were first on the list and they had new lots in another area. We decided to proceed. Designing the home was a breeze. We loved working with Jo. Carlos was our agent who recommended waiting to list our current home until the new build was backfilled. We listed our home with Carlos and got very little interest in our house. He didn’t do any marketing. He listed it on MLS and KSL (which was listed as the wrong city) and hoped for people to come take a look. About a month before estimated completion we told him we were going to get a different agent. We had more showings in the week with our new agent than the months it was on the market with Carlos from Salisbury. Our home didn’t sell in time and so despite still being under contract they listed our new build on MLS. When our home did go under contract 2 months later they got really sketchy. They had the house listed on MLS for less than what we were supposed to pay. We asked for that purchase price and the builder wanted us to put more earnest money down. The contract that they provided our new agent didn’t reflect our earnest money paid in the beginning. Still to this day, we signed the paper to get out of the contract and they haven’t given us our earnest money back. Despite the paper we signed saying it was to be dispersed back to us. Reed is a jerk, Carlos is flaky and will avoid your calls and doesn’t meet deadlines. DON’T BUILD WITH Salisbury/ Riding Homes. THEY ARE A JOKE AND DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS!
