About Saleh's Bakery

Saleh's Bakery is a family owned bakery that produces what many say are the best tasting, highest quality wedding cakes, birthday cakes and baked goods in Fordsburg. Saleh's Bakery originally opened in 1985 by Abdulhuck Saleh in Mafikeng, with the help of his son Ayub Saleh who was his right hand man. In 1992, the bakery relocated to Church Street in Mayfair and was there for the past 23 years, then on 2 October 2015 the Bakery relocated to it's current location, 89 Central Road in Fordsburg. Since the untimely passing of Abdulhuck Saleh in 2003, Ayub Saleh has taken over along with his wife Nazira Saleh and his son Pastry Chef Muhammad Saleh. The Saleh's and their experienced bakers have expanded substantially since relocating from their original location in Mafikeng.
