Reed Real Estate

Do not rent any property or sign any contract with Reed real state. We rented one of their properties for our large thanksgiving reunion. We specifically chooses a property “waves of time” because of the pool which they advertised it could be heated for an extra fee. I personally requested Reed rea state by email to please have the pool heated prior to our arrival (with 3 weeks in prior to our arrival). When we checked in, the pool wasn’t heated. I called the office to complain about it. They didn’t really cared. They told me I had to pay and extra fee and advised me the pool would take at least 1 day to warm up. They charged me the extra fee but nobody came tu turn it on. After 20 calls following up they finally informed me the pump equipment was broken since the summer and the pool could not be heated. What? Why didn’t they informed me about this when I made this request? Why did they charged me the extra fee? You can imagine the disappointment of all the kids from 5 families and Reed rental group didn’t really care of provide any explanation. This is not all. The house had a propane bottle but It was empty. I requested Reed rea state for the bottle to be replace as we were planing to use it but they did not even replied to my request. I had to end up buying a new bottle myself. Aso, for properties which you pay very high cleaning fees you would expect something else. One of the trash can bins was completely full, the sink on the outdoor patio was full of beers and cigarettes. The grill was beyond dirty and very old to the point that could not be used. Do not rent any property with this rea state group.
