PBMA's H V Desai Eye Hospital in Mohammadwadi, Hadapsar is a charitable eye hospital run by the Poona Blind Men's Association, an organisation serving Pune since 1952. The hospital was established in 2000 and treats cataract, cornea, retina, glaucoma and paediatric eye conditions, with oculoplasty, LASIK refractive surgery, low vision services and an eye bank. It also runs an artificial eye clinic for ocular prostheses, a facial aesthetics clinic for eyelid conditions and a clinical laboratory offering haematology, biochemistry and microbiology tests.
