Nellikka Restaurant is a boutique Kochi eatery serving traditional Kerala food built around kanji, the rice gruel, with outlets in Kathrikadavu, Kadavanthra, Kakkanad, Kalamassery, Pallimukku and Angamaly. The deliberately short menu features kuthari kanji in several styles, including a house special with curd, kappa puzhukku and gooseberry, thairu kanji, payar kanji cooked with green gram and coconut, pazham kanji and cheera kanji, served with thoran, pickle, coconut chammanthi and pappadam. Kanji is available from morning to night for dine-in or home delivery.
