About Motley Electric

Motley Electric is owned and operated by Justin Motley, a 3rd generation electrician, born and raised locally in St. Augustine, FL. When Justin was still in high school, he began learning the electrical trade from his grandfather, Ken Motley Sr. It was never Ken’s dream for his grandson to take over the family electrical business, so Justin pursued a college education, and spent the next few years gaining work and business experience in other industries. Eventually, he was drawn back to the business he learned to love as a young man, and he began working in the electrical field again. While employed by Tom Heath, another local St. Augustine electrical contractor, Justin rediscovered his passion for the electrical trade and began pursuing his Master Electrical license. In 2015, he formed Motley Electric to serve St. Johns County and the surrounding areas. Since that time, Motley Electric has expanded its team of skilled electricians to meet the demands of a large and quickly growing community, while always providing the high quality work and complete customer satisfaction that the Motley name has meant in this area for generations.
