About Mother's Dumplings

Born in Shenyang, Zhen is the owner and cook. After a brief visit to China, she returned to Toronto and opened Mother's Dumplings in June 2005. Featuring eight tables seating from 2 to 6 people each, Ours is a cozy, welcoming café. If Zhen seems tired some days, it is because she cooks with her heart to make dumplings as good as her mother makes them.Rick is a retired high school mathematics, physics, and computer studies teacher. After Zhen returned to Toronto to open Mother's Dumplings, he stayed in China for four months where he taught ESL.
