L'escargot bleu is a family-run French restaurant and wine bar on Broughton Street in Edinburgh, which has served classic French dishes there for seventeen years under chef patron Fred Berkmiller. Its bistro-style blackboard menu changes with the seasons and draws on produce sourced from Scotland and France, and the team is working towards growing its own vegetables and herbs in its garden. The restaurant was the first in the UK to be certified by Pasture for Life and has held one AA Rosette since 2013.
