Like a few others have said. He is a terrible lawyer. Save yourself the headache. I have a slam dunk case against a Periodontist, Hamid Atabakgsh. It is an easy case of malpractice. He took the case, sent his letter of representation. Atabakhsh called in and refused to turn it in to his insurance. Filing the petition with discovery would have changed things, instead Shane looked for every reason to not file the case because he guaranteed to pickup expenses. I offered to pay the $160.00 filing fee to file the petition. He guaranteed monthly communication about the case but I had to request it only to receive emails he was out of town Everytime I called. I didn't know Atabakhsh called in until more than a month after he called. If I hadn't called in he would not have called. He doesn't care the the statute of limitations is running and you lose time to file your case. I would believe the majority of these good reviews out here. My guess they are from family and friends and are not legitimate. Everyone of the people he has screwed over should get together and file a bar complaint.
