About Kalaya

Kalaya is a Southern Thai restaurant on West Palmer Street in Philadelphia, opened in 2019 by chef Chutatip "Nok" Suntaranon. The chef is a James Beard Award winner and TIME100 honoree, has been recognized on the Forbes 50 Over 50 list, and has been featured on Netflix's Chef's Table. Her cookbook, Kalaya's Southern Thai Kitchen, was named among the best cookbooks of 2024 by The New York Times and Bon Appetit. The restaurant takes reservations and enquiries by phone and email.
