I help couples and individuals like you every day to reconnect and to find intimacy and peace again. While I specialize in Couples Therapy and Discernment Counseling for couples considering divorce, I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), for trauma both caused by and affecting relationships, as well as traditional talk therapies for individuals who want to explore relationship challenges on their own. Jodie Rinde is a licensed counselor based in Fairfield & Westport, CT. She employs proven, effective, evidence-based modalities for couples therapy and is also certified in Discernment Counseling for couples who are grappling with the decision to divorce or separate. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and somatic therapy methods for relationship trauma. In addition, she provides co-parent coaching, having taught classes in the Parenting Education Program (PEP) required by the state of Connecticut for divorcing parents to learn effective co-parenting skills and divorce coaching for couples and individuals navigating this difficult transition.
