About Horizons Restaurant

Horizons was established in 1986 on the site of a well-known casual restaurant, ‘The Owl and the Oarsman’, popular for their generous portions of steak and lobster. However, the magnificent view from the location could not be seen because the building had no windows! Therefore, when the plans to take over the building and make a new restaurant called Horizons came about, the concept was simple: create a restaurant where the food and ambiance equalled the awe-inspiring view and surroundings.
