Higher Ground is a modern British bistro in Manchester city centre, located in Faulkner House on New York Street. Its menus change daily around seasonal British produce, with many vegetables grown at Cinderwood Market Garden, the restaurant's own farm in Cheshire. The kitchen works with whole-animal butchery, hand-rolled pasta, seasonal vegetables, and fish and seafood cooked over coal. Lunch and dinner are served from à la carte and seasonal menus, with vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and pescatarian options, and the wine list focuses on small-scale European winemakers.
