Franklin Barbecue is a barbecue restaurant on East 11th Street in Austin associated with pitmaster Aaron Franklin. The menu covers USDA Prime brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork from heritage Duroc pigs, sausage and turkey, served with bread, potato salad, coleslaw, beans and pickles. It opens for lunch Tuesday through Sunday until the meat sells out, and accepts advance orders. The business also ships nationwide, sells sauces, rubs, merchandise and gift cards, welcomes friendly dogs on the patio and hosts private events at its Franklin Backyard venue.
