Fonda San Miguel is a Mexican restaurant on West North Loop in Austin that has been cooking since 1975. Its kitchen focuses on interior and coastal Mexican cuisine and regional specialties, with separate dinner, cocktail, happy hour and Hacienda Brunch menus. The restaurant takes reservations and online orders, sells gift cards and runs weekday happy hour in its bar and atrium. A private dining room hosts groups of 40 to 75 guests with customizable menus. Owner Tom Gilliland's team also operates the Tzintzuntzan bakery and restaurant.
