Firedoor is a restaurant in Surry Hills, Sydney, led by chef Lennox Hastie, where every dish is cooked over wood fire rather than gas or electricity. The kitchen builds a seasonally driven menu that changes daily around Australian produce and the character of different woods. The venue, a short walk from Central Station, serves dinner from Wednesday to Saturday and lunch on Fridays and Saturdays, and also hosts events and private dining. It has a sister venue, Gildas, and an online shop.
