Dooher's Bakery opened its doors in 1949 when Muriel and Harry Dooher bought a small bakery in Madoc, Ontario. With a small wood-fired oven and everything made from scratch, it took courage and determination, along with incredibly long hours for Dooher's Bakery to begin this long-standing and successful venture as a high-quality bakery.Today, much of the Dooher's Bakery tradition remains the same. Operated by Chris and Peter Dooher, the family business has grown as one of the finest home bakeries in southern Ontario. Located in Campbellford at 61 Bridge St., Dooher's Bakery is a pillar of the community supporting numerous local charities and fundraising activities as a sponsor and a participant, while providing a unique attraction to the village
