I employed this company to undertake drainage and waterproofing at my property. When I requested a visit to look at the job and to get a quote the owner was prompt in visiting and providing a quote. We also asked for a quote on some landscaping and an associate promptly turned up, offered some ideas, and agreed to send us a quote for a couple of options. We agreed a start date, which was some weeks out. Close to the proposed start date I had not heard from the company and chased them up on what was happening. The job eventually started but at the various steps through the job there was a lack of timely communication and I was always chasing for an update. At one stage through the process some of the company’s workers turned up and wished to use my tools to undertake the job I had employed them to do. After a protracted time the job was almost finished. When a company supervisor turned up to look at the finishing off of the reinstatement of the lawn he agreed that the soil had been laid to high and that it would be rectified with a relevelling and resowing of grass. This process would have taken no more than a couple of hours. In addition excess material brought to site and not used was to be taken away. The supervisor also agreed to chase up the landscaper. It never happened. Despite attempts to get a response from the company I heard nothing, either in respect of reinstatement or the landscaping options. I only hope that on the basis they can’t get the small details right that hopefully they may have got the bigger jog done correctly, but now that it is buried there is no way to know. I paid the progress payment promptly and paid the final payment when due despite the small works that had not been completed. BIG mistake. The company cannot be trusted to complete works to a satisfactory level, having agreed that rectification was required. In my view if you use this lot do not pay the company until all works are finished, there is no guarantee they will complete the job and tidy up after themselves.
