Callie is a Mediterranean restaurant on Island Avenue in San Diego's East Village, led by chef Travis Swikard. Its seasonal, chef-driven menus draw on the cooking of Greece, Spain, Morocco and Italy and are designed for sharing. The restaurant serves dinner Tuesday through Sunday, with the bar staying open later in the evening. Recognition listed on its site includes a Michelin Bib Gourmand, a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, inclusion in San Diego Magazine's Best Restaurants and Esquire's Best New Restaurants of 2022.
