Belzan is a neighbourhood bistro and wine bar on Smithdown Road in Liverpool, founded in December 2017 by Chris Edwards and Owain Williams, with Sam Grainger as chef. Its menu changes with the seasons and centres on simple, classic dishes cooked over a wood-fired barbecue, alongside small plates, natural wines and cocktails. The kitchen focuses on handmade food and sustainably sourced local produce. Belzan serves dinner Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday lunch, and offers private hire and gift cards. It has appeared on the Good Food Guide's Top 100 Local Restaurants list.
